Fred's Coffee Article
This project was created within a different course. We created a basic magazine layout that gave us tips and tricks for making coffee at home, proudly brought to us by the fictional business Fred’s Coffee. We were introduced to this first by creating the logo and with this project we were taught the “Works Every Time” layout for magazines. This layout keeps it organized and looking professional. Created in Adobe InDesign, we were given the text to be included and we learned the basics: how to create the set up before adding content, how to insert images, and why this layout works. After having my peers review it, they suggested having the script font be placed on something so it would pop out more and provide a visual hierarchy so the viewer wouldn’t skip over the titles and go straight to the content. I changed the font color to the lighter color and placed it on the dark mocha background and it helped in getting the viewers attention before going through the article.
